The Area In Detail

Jupiter - an summer holiday resort in the S-E side of Romania (Constantza county), on the Black Sea shore at 5-20m altitude, is situated between Neptun and Cap Aurora, at 10 km close to Mangalia and administratively belongs to it.

Tiny and lovely, Jupiter is one of the most beautiful resorts on the Romanian seaside, penetrating the touring market at the beginning of the “70, with many hotels, villas, restaurants, day and night clubs, dancing clubs, camping spaces, sports grounds, piscine, bowling, cinema and lakes that create the frame for an unforgettable holiday on the Black Sea shore.

The location of the resort was made by considering the layout of the terrain and has two coordinates – the shore, and another natural element, Comorova Forest, in interior of the land. These touristic attractions are connected through a central area, very active.

	Main activities from the resort (commercial, cultural, sport and entertainment activities) are concentrated in the central area, in an appealing environment, with terraces, grass plots, trees and flowers.

Tismana and Jupiter Lakes bound the shore from the rest of the resort in the northern side, and represent another attractive area, with their scenery and the entertaining means, always at the tourists’ service.
